Gilcimar Spavier, Brazil | Extract Coffee

This is one of the 6 coffee bags that I got sent by Extract Coffee as a mistake. As cool as that was, I'm not going to act biased here even though everything tastes better when it's free.

I've been making my way through these bags with only 2 left now. The last bag I had was this one: Gilcimar Spavier in Brazil:

Coffee bag

The flavour notes on the front of the bag were "Pear & Sesame brittle". After tasting it, I have no idea what led them to name it that. It has a charcoal-ish taste to it, very rich and full on but not bad!

Not something I'd go out of my way to drink but it's full on taste and texture sort of forces you to look into what's actually in the drink, and when you look into it, it's quite interesting and I would totally understand if this was someone's go to drink in the morning.
